Usage Guide
Install the Aysali SMS Android app and connect it to your workspace SMS Gateway. The recommended path is one-step QR pairing from the tenant portal.
Before you start
- An Android phone with a SIM (dedicated device preferred)
- Access to the tenant portal SMS Gateway page
- SMS Gateway enabled and active on your plan
Step 1 — Download and install the APK
- In the portal, open SMS Gateway → Status.
- Tap Install app and download the APK on the phone, or use:
- Allow installation from unknown sources if Android prompts you.
- Open the app after install completes.
- •
Use a dedicated phone when possible
SMS delivery works best on a device with a stable SIM and network.
- •
Grant SMS permissions
The app needs permission to send and read SMS for gateway operation.
Step 2 — Show the pairing QR in the portal
- On a computer (or another screen), open SMS Gateway → Status.
- Tap Connect with QR.
- Keep the large dialog open — it shows the pairing code and short instructions.
- Do not share screenshots of this dialog publicly; it contains account secrets.
Step 3 — Scan from the Android app
- On the phone, open the Aysali SMS app.
- Go to Settings → Cloud server.
- Tap Connect with QR.
- Allow camera access when prompted.
- Scan the code shown in the portal dialog.
- Wait until the app confirms a successful connection (success dialog).
The app applies the server details and registers the device automatically.
Step 4 — Confirm on Home
- Return to the Home tab (the app may switch there after you confirm success).
- Cloud server should appear enabled with your account details.
- The connection starts automatically after a successful QR pair when permissions are granted.
- Wait until status shows Online.
Verify success
Setup is complete when:
- App status is Online
- The device appears in SMS Gateway → Devices in the portal
- A test message sends successfully (portal or API)
Manual fallback (optional)
If you cannot use the camera, enter API URL and Private Token manually under Settings → Cloud server (values from the portal Status tab), then enable Cloud server on Home and start the service. QR pairing remains the preferred path.
If status stays offline
See Troubleshooting — common causes are unreachable API URL, camera/scan failure, or gateway health issues. Try Connect with QR again from the portal.
