Usage Guide
We are committed to transparency and the protection of user privacy. This document outlines how the Aysali SMS Android app and your workspace SMS Gateway handle information.
Data handling
Public IP retrieval (local server / cloud)
- Public IP may be obtained via your workspace cloud server.
- Request may include:
- App version
- Server token (Private Token when applicable)
Push notifications (private server)
- Routed through your workspace server when configured.
- Contains the FCM token for wake-up delivery.
- Does not include message content or recipients in push payloads.
Encryption and message protection
Communication between the app and your workspace server uses secure encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
End-to-end encryption is optional but recommended where supported:
- Message payload can be encrypted before being sent to the API.
- Decrypted on the device for SMS delivery.
- Third parties (including Aysali operators) do not read encrypted content without keys you control.
Server-side processing
Your workspace gateway may process metadata needed for routing and delivery. Retention policies depend on your workspace configuration and Aysali platform defaults.
Shared metadata may include:
- Device manufacturer and model
- App version
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token
User privacy (app)
The Aysali SMS app is designed without:
- Usage analytics for advertising
- Behavioral tracking profiles
- Third-party ad SDKs
Your rights
You may request, depending on applicable law and your workspace agreement:
- Access to personal data held about your account
- Correction of inaccurate account information
- Deletion of data when closing a workspace (subject to billing and legal retention)
