WhatsApp

After your WhatsApp number is connected, you can send messages through integrations (API, n8n, Manager) and review traffic in the portal.

View message history in the portal

  1. Open WhatsApp in the tenant portal.
  2. Go to the Messages tab.
  3. Browse recent messages stored by your workspace.

Use this view to confirm delivery, debug customer conversations, or audit automated sends.

Send your first message (conceptual flow)

  1. •

    Confirm connection

In Aysali Manager, verify the instance is connected. See Connect your number.

  2. •

    Copy credentials

On the Status tab, copy API URL and API key.

  3. •

    Send via API or tool

Use Aysali Manager’s test tools, n8n HTTP node, or your application to call the send-message endpoint with the instance name and recipient number.

  4. •

    Verify

Check the Messages tab or the recipient’s WhatsApp app.

Receive messages

Incoming WhatsApp messages are available through:

  1. Messages tab in the portal (historical view)
  2. Webhooks — Real-time HTTP callbacks to your server or automation (see Webhooks overview)
  3. API — Fetch chats and messages via reference endpoints

For automation (auto-replies, CRM sync), webhooks or n8n are the usual approach.

Message types supported

Your workspace supports text, media, location, contacts, reactions, polls, and more. See the full matrix on Capabilities.

Tips

  • Always send to numbers in international format (country code + number, no leading zero).
  • Use one instance name consistently in API calls.
  • Rate limits and WhatsApp policy still apply — avoid bulk spam; use opt-in lists for marketing.
