The WhatsApp service lets your workspace send and receive WhatsApp messages through a dedicated API and Aysali Manager web UI. Everything runs on infrastructure provisioned for your workspace — you manage it from the portal, not from your own servers.
Before you start
- WhatsApp must be enabled on your subscription (check Billing).
- Your WhatsApp service subscription must be active (not expired or suspended).
- You need a phone with WhatsApp to scan the QR code when connecting a number.
Open WhatsApp in the portal
- Sign in to your workspace portal.
- Click WhatsApp in the sidebar (default landing section).
If the service is not on your plan, you see an upgrade panel. If subscription is inactive, you see a renewal notice.
Portal tabs
| Tab | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Status | View process health (uptime, CPU, memory), copy API URL and API key, open Aysali Manager, see instance count vs plan limit |
| Logs | Browse recent service logs for troubleshooting |
| Messages | Review stored WhatsApp messages handled by your workspace |
| Manager | Open Aysali Manager and access advanced instance controls |
Credentials on the Status tab
- API URL — Base URL for HTTP requests to your WhatsApp API (use with your API key).
- API key — Secret token; copy and store securely. Toggle visibility with the eye icon.
Share these only with trusted integrations (CRM, bots, n8n workflows).
Aysali Manager
Aysali Manager is the web UI for connecting numbers, viewing connection state, and configuring instances.
From Status or Manager, click Open Manager to launch it in a new tab. Manager runs on your workspace host under the /manager/ path.
Instance limit
Your plan includes a maximum number of WhatsApp instances (connected numbers). The Status tab shows used / limit. Purchase additional slots from Billing → Add WhatsApp instances.
Send setup instructions
Use the Send instructions menu (when available) to receive setup steps on WhatsApp — useful when onboarding a colleague who will scan the QR code.
Introductory video
You can also watch the same video from the video icon next to WhatsApp in the portal sidebar.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| Blank Status tab | Confirm subscription is active; wait a few minutes after provisioning |
| Cannot open Manager | Verify API URL loads in browser; contact support if host is unreachable |
| API key missing | Refresh portal; contact support if provisioning incomplete |
