Admin
Manage, create, and delete agents and admins from the Users area of your Aysali Bot admin panel.
Only agents and admins can sign in to the admin area. Visitors and leads use the chat widget or channels; they do not get admin access.
Create agents and admins
- •
Open Users
In the admin panel, go to the Users area.
- •
Add user
Click Add user in the top-right corner.
- •
Set role and details
Choose the user type (Agent or Admin), fill in profile details (email, password, department, language, and so on), and save.
You can edit or remove agents and admins from the same area at any time.
For extra columns in the Users list and definitions of user, lead, and visitor, see Users table additional columns.
Agents can speed up replies with Saved replies (canned messages).
Agent privileges
Configure what regular agents are allowed to do under Settings → Admin → Agent privileges:
| Privilege | Allows |
|---|---|
| Users area | Access the Users section |
| Articles area | Access the Articles / help center area |
| Edit user | Edit visitor and customer profiles |
| Agents and admins tab | View and manage the agents/admins list inside Users |
| Delete conversation | Delete conversations |
| Delete message | Delete individual messages |
| Update conversation department | Change the department on a conversation |
Admins (non-supervisor) retain full access unless limited by other settings.
Supervisors
A supervisor is a special role: an administrator with a custom subset of permissions — useful for team leads who need more than an agent but less than full admin.
Configure supervisors under Settings → Admin → Supervisors:
- Click Add in the Supervisors repeater (you can define multiple supervisor profiles).
- In Admin IDs, enter one or more administrator user IDs, comma-separated (for example
12,45,88). Only those admin accounts receive the supervisor profile when signed in. - Enable the actions this supervisor group may perform (Users, Settings, Reports, Articles, edit user, agents tab, delete conversation/message, send message, and so on).
Who can access the admin panel
| User type | Admin login |
|---|---|
| Admin | Yes — full access (unless configured as a supervisor with limited privileges) |
| Agent | Yes — access according to Agent privileges |
| Supervisor | Yes — admin account with permissions from the matching Supervisors row |
| User / lead / visitor | No |
