Installation

  1. •

Create or open a bot in BotFather

    Open @BotFather in Telegram.

    • Existing bot: send /mybots → select your bot → API token
    • New bot: send /newbot → follow prompts for name and username → copy the token

    Official guide: core.telegram.org/bots

  2. •

    Paste token and synchronize

In Settings → Telegram → Synchronization, paste the Token, then click Synchronize now.

  3. •

    Test

Message your bot in Telegram. The conversation should appear in the Aysali Bot admin inbox.

Your bot host must use a valid SSL certificate (for example https://360-bot.aysali.com).

Additional bots

Use Settings → Telegram → Additional bots when different departments need separate Telegram bots:

  1. Add a row with Token, Department, optional Tags and Label.
  2. Click Synchronize now on that row.
  3. Each bot registers its own webhook to the same Aysali Bot installation.

Pair with Ignore start message if you do not want the raw /start event to open a conversation without your welcome text.

Send alerts to a Telegram channel or group when new messages arrive.

OptionPurpose
ActiveEnable Telegram agent notifications
All messagesNotify on every message (not only when agents are offline)
Channel nameChannel username (with or without @)
MessageTemplate with merge fields

Merge fields: \{message\}, \{sender_name\}, \{sender_email\}, \{conversation_link\}, \{attachments\}

Add the bot as an admin of the target channel so it can post notifications.
